Welcome to Kilimanjaro Hope Foundation

Kilimanjaro Hope Foundation is registered under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act and is based in Moshi Kilimanjaro region, Northern Tanzania. The foundation was established in November 2020, aiming to address education, health, and safety challenges affecting Children, especially girls from underserved communities in Northern Tanzania.

Women and children from low-resourced countries, including Tanzania, share a disproportionate burden of poverty, disease, ignorance, abuse, and violence that impair the growth and well-being of the children.

The foundation envisages addressing such challenges through the mobilization of resources to support access to quality education, health care services, and safety interventions for talented children, especially girls and children with learning disability from disadvantaged backgrounds, including poor households and households of people living with a disability.

The Organization was jointly established by Dr Joackim Kessy of Kilimanjaro Moshi Tanzania, Dr Rainer Eberlein and Dr Martina Charlotte Schwarz from Germany.
