The foundation targets talented girls with limited financial capacity to access quality education. By January 2025, the foundation had supported six female beneficiaries (four in primary school, one from primary to secondary school, two in secondary school, and one pursued an early childhood teaching practices certificate at Teachers’ Training College in Tanzania). All six girls were from struggling families, including poor, people living with disability, and single Mother families.
The foundation also conducted health programs that promote nutrition, sanitation and hygiene, self-awareness of children’s rights, and abuse prevention among primary school children (aged 3 – 13 years). By June 2023, the foundation had reached over 700 primary school students in Kilimanjaro with health education on hygiene, sanitation, and COVID-19 prevention measures. The measures included the provision of hand-wash facilities and first aid kits to Mwereni Special School for children with albinism, blindness, and normal pupils.
