The Organization started a Montessori pre-school project (KiliHope Montessori Academy) in August 2013 in Kilimanjaro Moshi, Tanzania, and began admitting pupils in January 2024. Montessori education aims to foster autonomous, competent, responsible, adaptive citizens who are life-long learners and problem solvers.” Generally, Montessori ‘Leads children to the joy of learning and self-discovery.’ The school targets children aged between 2.5 and 6 years. By January 2025, the school had enrolled 22 children, including 2 with learning disability. The school project intends to enhance access to quality education where talented girls from marginalized families are considered for fee reduction or exemption based on the availability of potential donors to support their education. The school also enrolls children with learning disability. The cost for a child is about 640 USD per year. The cost includes tuition fees, uniforms, and all basic school supplies.
We facilitate the Learning, Holistic Development, and Growth of children into autonomous, lifelong learners and problem-solver citizens through pre-school global best practices.
